{"id":1267,"date":"2013-04-16T15:54:13","date_gmt":"2013-04-16T19:54:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.law.cornell.edu\/library\/?p=1267"},"modified":"2013-04-16T15:56:04","modified_gmt":"2013-04-16T19:56:04","slug":"national-library-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.law.cornell.edu\/library\/2013\/04\/16\/national-library-week\/","title":{"rendered":"National Library Week: Amnesty for Law Library Fines"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In honor of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ala.org\/conferencesevents\/celebrationweeks\/natlibraryweek\">National Library Week<\/a>, the Law Library is pleased to announce an amnesty for law library fines.\u00a0 Return overdue Law Library books to the Circulation Desk <span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><b>before 5pm on Friday, April 19<\/b>,<\/span> to receive forgiveness for any fines owed, no questions asked.<\/p>\n<p>Please note the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Amnesty applies only to Law Library books.\u00a0We cannot waive fines for other libraries.<\/li>\n<li>Fines that have already posted to your bursar account are not subject to forgiveness under this program.<\/li>\n<li>Only overdue\/late fines will be cleared, not charges associated with lost, damaged, or otherwise missing items.
