{"id":141,"date":"2010-09-15T08:47:18","date_gmt":"2010-09-15T13:47:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.law.cornell.edu\/library\/2010\/09\/15\/cornell-library-goes-mobile\/"},"modified":"2010-09-15T08:49:25","modified_gmt":"2010-09-15T13:49:25","slug":"cornell-library-goes-mobile","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.law.cornell.edu\/library\/2010\/09\/15\/cornell-library-goes-mobile\/","title":{"rendered":"Cornell Library goes mobile"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.law.cornell.edu\/library\/files\/2010\/09\/cul-mobile.jpg\" title=\"CUL mobile site\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.law.cornell.edu\/library\/files\/2010\/09\/cul-mobile.jpg\" alt=\"CUL mobile site\" align=\"left\" height=\"311\" width=\"217\" \/><\/a>In a move designed to make online information more accessible to library patrons, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.library.cornell.edu\/\" title=\"Cornell University Library\">Cornell University Library<\/a> (CUL) recently launched CULite, a new mobile interface for the library\u2019s website.\u00a0 The <a href=\"http:\/\/library.lawschool.cornell.edu\/\" title=\"Cornell Law Library\">Law Library<\/a> is grateful to the <a href=\"https:\/\/confluence.cornell.edu\/display\/CULLABS\/Mobile+Team+Credits\" title=\"CUL Labs\">mobile team<\/a> that designed this feature for the benefit of all libraries on the Cornell campus, including ours.<\/p>\n<p>Two alternatives are available to users: a device independent mobile site (<a href=\"http:\/\/library.cornell.edu\/m\" title=\"CUL mobile site\">http:\/\/library.cornell.edu\/m<\/a>) or an iPhone\/iPod Touch <a href=\"http:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/cu-library\/id354721654?mt=8&amp;ign-mpt=uo%3D6\" title=\"CUL iPhone app\">app<\/a> available free from iTunes.\u00a0 Both options allow users to search the Classic Catalog, check individual Library hours, locate contact information for each Library, submit a question to an individual reference desk, and more.\u00a0 Check out the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/mannlibrary#p\/a\/u\/0\/z-SximVgW0I\" title=\"CULite YouTube video\">promotional video<\/a> on YouTube.\u00a0 Your research just became a little easier.<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In a move designed to make online information more accessible to library patrons, Cornell University Library (CUL) recently launched CULite, a new mobile interface for the library\u2019s website.\u00a0 The Law Library is grateful to the mobile team that designed this feature for the benefit of all libraries on the Cornell campus, including ours.
