{"id":2104,"date":"2014-09-15T11:29:46","date_gmt":"2014-09-15T15:29:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.law.cornell.edu\/library\/?p=2104"},"modified":"2014-09-15T11:29:46","modified_gmt":"2014-09-15T15:29:46","slug":"financial-times-online-access-now-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.law.cornell.edu\/library\/2014\/09\/15\/financial-times-online-access-now-available\/","title":{"rendered":"Financial Times Online Access Now Available"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Law Library is pleased to announce that current Cornell faculty, students, and staff may now create Financial Times (FT.com) online accounts at no charge.<\/p>\n<p>To create your account, while on campus (using either Cornell eduroam or Red Rover, or a Cornell hard-wired computer), navigate to <a href=\"https:\/\/registration.ft.com\/corporate\/signup\/Oaq41Sl2OoGmS\">https:\/\/registration.ft.com\/corporate\/signup\/Oaq41Sl2OoGmS<\/a> (popup enabling not required) or to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ft.com\/home\/us\">http:\/\/www.ft.com\/home\/us<\/a> (popup enabling required).\u00a0 You should see a message inviting you to sign up to Cornell University Library\u2019s subscription.\u00a0 Follow the directions to register, using your Cornell email address ([your NetID]@cornell.edu).\u00a0 You cannot register with a non-Cornell email address.<\/p>\n<p>A few tips for using FT.com:<\/p>\n<p><b>Is there a mobile app I can use?<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Yes!\u00a0 The FT web app is available for <b>iPads<\/b>, <b>iPhones<\/b>, <b>Androids<\/b>, and <b>Windows phones<\/b>) for no additional cost. Please go to <a href=\"http:\/\/apps.ft.com\">apps.ft.com<\/a> for more information. NOTE: The iPad and iPhone web apps are not downloaded via the app store.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Can I set up alerts? What other tools can I use?<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The following tools can help integrate FT content into your daily workflow:\n<ul>\n<li>Sign up for <a href=\"http:\/\/nbe.ft.com\/nbe\/profile.cfm\">email briefings<\/a> and create <a href=\"http:\/\/markets.ft.com\/alertsHub\/keyword.asp\">custom alerts<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Save, organize and share articles via the <a href=\"http:\/\/clippings.ft.com\/\">FT clippings tool<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Use <a href=\"http:\/\/newslines.ft.com\/\">FT Newslines<\/a>, a tool that lets you make notes on FT.com articles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What is FT Newslines?
