{"id":2259,"date":"2015-01-26T09:05:13","date_gmt":"2015-01-26T14:05:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.law.cornell.edu\/library\/?p=2259"},"modified":"2015-01-26T11:36:41","modified_gmt":"2015-01-26T16:36:41","slug":"new-library-services","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.law.cornell.edu\/library\/2015\/01\/26\/new-library-services\/","title":{"rendered":"New Library Services"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today the Law Library is launching two new services for faculty and students.\u00a0 <span style=\"font-size: medium\"><strong>ScanIt<\/strong><\/span> is a free document delivery service through which copies of library materials are delivered electronically within two business days of a request.\u00a0 For information about how to place a request and for more details regarding the parameters and restrictions of this service, please see our website <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lawschool.cornell.edu\/library\/WhatWeDo\/ScanIt.cfm\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Law Library will additionally be offering <span style=\"font-size: medium\"><strong>paging services<\/strong><\/span> for materials located in the Law Library stacks.\u00a0 Faculty and students may request materials from the stacks and have them delivered to the circulation desk by simply locating the item in the library catalog and then clicking the \u201cRequest Item\u201d button.\u00a0 (See below.)\u00a0 The materials will then be delivered directly to faculty offices. Students may pick up materials at the circulation desk.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.law.cornell.edu\/library\/files\/2015\/01\/request.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2260\" alt=\"request\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.law.cornell.edu\/library\/files\/2015\/01\/request.jpg\" width=\"961\" height=\"435\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.law.cornell.edu\/library\/files\/2015\/01\/request.jpg 961w, https:\/\/blog.law.cornell.edu\/library\/files\/2015\/01\/request-300x135.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 961px) 100vw, 961px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>ScanIt and paging services are being offered on a pilot basis.
