{"id":2266,"date":"2015-01-27T10:31:34","date_gmt":"2015-01-27T15:31:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.law.cornell.edu\/library\/?p=2266"},"modified":"2015-01-27T10:31:34","modified_gmt":"2015-01-27T15:31:34","slug":"westlaw-password-changes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.law.cornell.edu\/library\/2015\/01\/27\/westlaw-password-changes\/","title":{"rendered":"Westlaw Password Changes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>You have probably received a notification from Westlaw prompting you to change your password. <strong>Westlaw is requiring that all academic account holders change their password<\/strong>.\u00a0 Starting February 1 users will be directed to change their passwords before being allowed to log in.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TO CHANGE PASSWORDS NOW<\/strong>:\u00a0 Sign on at <a href=\"http:\/\/lawschool.westlaw.com\">http:\/\/lawschool.westlaw.com<\/a>\u00a0 On the left side of the page under Welcome, you\u2019ll see an Update link next to your name.\u00a0 Click the link and your OnePass information will pop up.\u00a0 Click the Manage OnePass Profile link.\u00a0 You\u2019ll now be on the General Settings page.\u00a0 Scroll down and type in your new password and re-enter in the Confirm field.\u00a0 Then click Save.\u00a0 Password requirements will pop up\u2014you must follow these!<\/p>\n<p>We encourage you to be proactive in making the change prior to the deadline.
