Paul Hirsch is Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Studies at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry. Additionally, Hirsch serves as the Research Director for Environmental Collaboration and Conflicts at the Maxwell School of Syracuse University, where he holds a courtesy appointment in the department of Public Administration and International Affairs. His research focuses on deliberative processes for problem-solving and decision-making across disciplinary and organizational boundaries. He received a PhD from Georgia Tech’s School of Public Policy, an MS from the University of Georgia Odum School of Ecology, and a BS from Cornell University.
