  Søren Broberg Nielsen (LL.M.) is the Head of Division of Legal Information in the Danish Ministry of Justice, and has been responsible for the development and operation of the Danish legal information system https://www.retsinformation.dk since 2004. In that period the promulgation of legislation has been digitalized and the undelaying production system “Lex Dania” has been implemented as a XML-based data capturing system from drafting to promulgation. He has chaired the working group ‘XML: Common use of XML for the production and distribution of official gazettes’ in the European Forum of Official Gazettes.
